Our Guiding Principles

In and About Education acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging; and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples today. We actively work with and learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander First People to ensure the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
We value the contribution Australian Defence Force and Emergency Service Veterans have made to keep our Australian communities safe. We thank them and their families for their service.


In and About Education was founded to give participants in our programs to discover and explore the environment around them by immersing themselves in the learning environment onsite, online or with others. We use our "lived experience", professional expertise and pride to provide a unique and holistic experience for all who we learn with. 

Our program designers take great pride in providing participants with life long memories of holistic and deep learning experiences.

We work with you to design authentic and effective experiences that are designed specifically for the needs of your learning community.

Working in collaboration with other Learning Designers, Educators, Trainers and businesses to execute their vision for their learning community is a highly valued priviledge. Our team commits to their lifelong learning journey to upskill to keep professional currency and competence.

Participants in our programs deserve to interact effectively and safely within the learning environment both onsite or online.

Program participants who use THE VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) can expect a secure and closed environment for your group whilst online.

In and About Education work with you to put the online experience on your Learning Management System.

We will attend to any issues as a matter of priority.

Our team thoroughly researches your learning community for deep understanding of their learning needs. We investigate your learning community heritage, hidden stories and environment.

"Real-world" tasks are given to learners to complete as they would as part of their role in the workplace or project team.

Learners who interact with primary research, raw data collection and hear stories about the environment they are working in are more likely to value their experience and feed their curiosity further.

We actively seek feedback from our learning communities. This is how we design our services, learning content and how we work collaboratively with you.
